Cualca is a TV series of comedy sketches that was first developed as a part of the TV show Duro de Dormar in 2012, but found its own success on Vimeo and Youtube. Written by and starring Malena Pichot, Julián Kartun, Julián Lucero, Julián Doregger y Charo López, the series is a social parody that explores themes of feminism, racism, homophobia and other social prejudices that exist in Argentina. It has recurring characters as well as new ones each episode.
A second season was developed via crowdfunding and was released in November, 2014 by the Pichot YouTube channel. A spin-off entitled Por Ahora was released by Cosmopolitan Television in 2013.
